Ferrari unveils its extreme car, the 1,035 hp FXX K

It’s been quite some time since we’ve heard even a rumble coming out of Ferrari’s factories. Tidings have finally reached our ears that the Italian supercar manufacturer has pulled the veil off a new prancing horse, a flaming red ride called the Ferrari FXX K.

Unveiled in a place that’s completely head-over-heels in love with these cars, Abu Dhabi, this one’s nicknamed ‘the most extreme Ferrari ever made’, and for good reason. So what makes this Ferrari so special? The fact that it’s capable of churning out a whopping 1,035 hp! To do this, the FXX K packs an electric motor that generates 187 horsepower and a 6.3-liter V12 boosted to produce 848 hp.
If that hasn’t left you completely bananas yet, here’s more. The FXX K sports a front end with a two-part splitter, inspired by Ferrari’s GT family tree. Apart from this, the car comes with vertical fins along the flanks, a nice rear wing and a giant diffuser too, contributing to 50% more downforce. For stopping power, the FXX K packs carbon-ceramic brake discs measuring 15 inches across. To top it all, Ferrari has added a recalibrated electronic differential, traction control, ABS, Racing SSC as well as a four-mode Manetinno dial. While official speed numbers haven’t been mentioned, this car’s expected to leave the LaFerrari in the dust. Currently, you can’t simply walk into a Ferrari showroom and pick up one of these. You’ll first need to be picked out for the Ferrari driver development program, just to get behind the wheel of this ultimate Ferrari!
