Rita poses for Lachlan Bailey in a series of colorful images photographed around New York City. Alastair McKimm styled Rita in mesh tops, neon scarves and leather jackets from the resort season.

 Talk about making a statement! Inspired by a cage (Why? We ask!) Dolce and Gabbana have launched a new platform heels made from gold leather and metal and embellished with roses and velvet insoles. While we cannot guarantee the promised comfort, these open almond toed shoes will surely put you in the spotlight.

The cagey-shoes (no pun intended) are part of the company’s fall 2013 runway show collection. If this one holds your fancy, the sandals come with matching earrings and a clutch too.
